Free Digital Diver Training

You can start your diving theory for the open water course with the FREE digital diver training and manual with no obligations by following the instructions below to download it onto your smartphone or tablet; once you have downloaded it you do not need access to the internet to use it.  Perfect when you are traveling around Asia.  The app gives you access to the first three theory sections of the Open Water Diver course for free so you can start the course without any commitment and start reading on your way to Koh Tao in any language you want.

Full Open Water Diver course

If you like what you see you can continue with the full Open Water Diver course by booking with us and we will give you access to the full manual.  You get the first 3 chapters for free with your digital training. Download instructions for Free Digital Diver Training

1. On your smartphone or tablet connect to WiFi.
2. Go to your App store and download the “My SSI” app and install it. Open your web browser and go to SSI click on MYSSI tab and then click LOGIN/REGISTER.

3. Scroll down and begin filling in all the fields with the correct information. Creating a profile in the system does not obligate you for any payment or commitment, you first get to know the course material and even complete half of the required theory in a digital format FREE of charge before committing to a course by paying a deposit.
4. When you go to select a Dive Center, first select the country – Thailand – and then from the drop-down list choose 84360 – Koh Tao – Mojo Divers.
5. Check your email account for an email with login details i.e. username and password. (Check spam and junk folders). Your username is your email address; the email address is how you will be identified in the SSI system so the same email address cannot be used for multiple family members for example.
6. If you do not receive an email from SSI please contact Mojo Divers for help.
7. Open your SSI app.
8. Fill in the required fields that the pop-up window asks for.
9. After that is completed courses become available to download.
10. Click the three bars in the top right-hand corner of the app.
11. Click on “mytraining” or “mycourses” from the drop-down menu.
12. In the Scuba Diving section Download the course that is labeled “Scuba Diver” for free and choose whichever language you want.

14. All your further courses will be on this app for you to read. But first, you need to finish your open water course and this is what it is like….

Please ensure that you read the medical form and if you have to answer yes to any questions you will require a sign-off by a diving doctor. However, while this is available on Koh Tao some pre-existing conditions may require sign-off by your doctor or specialist. In conclusion, if in doubt please ensure the medical questionnaire is completed before leaving your home country. Some medical conditions are not suitable for diving and may preclude you from diving.
