Already have your diving certification and thinking of Koh Tao for fun diving? We have a lot to offer all levels of divers from beginners to experienced divers.
It is a small island that is literally surrounded by dive sites, with a year-long dive season we can dive 7 days a week, 52 weeks a year. So no matter when you are visiting Koh Tao you can always go fun diving.
We have a mix of shallow dive sites, sheltered bays, artificial reefs, swim-throughs, caves, huge pinnacles, deep sites, and even a wreck or two to explore; there is a dive site to suit everyone.
We go out twice per day for fun diving and visit two dive sites each time. Want to find Nemo? Search for a whale shark? Two fun dives cost 1600b and includes all equipment rental and a dive guide.
There are plenty of diving courses you can do on Koh Tao, see the links. Or just dive for fun! No skills, no reading you just enjoy the stunning dive sites Koh Tao has to offer as a vacation for diving.
There is the Advanced Course as we mentioned, diving packages or Fun Dives, or Specialties to continue your diving education such as Wreck, Deep Diving or Nitrox.
Do you want to know more about a Koh Tao diving course? Feel free to contact us and one of our team of dive professionals will answer any questions quickly to see what scuba program is right for you. We have a variety of diving courses and dive certifications available with the SSI diving training organization.
Do I need a scuba review before your fun diving on Koh Tao? If you have not been diving for more than a year after your scuba certification or have no experience diving in a coral reef, then you may need to complete a scuba review to update and refresh your diving skills and knowledge.
Starting at 11 am you will go through theory and dive briefing and in the afternoon you do the basic scuba diving skills and review the emergency skills with a professional in shallow water. We use professional instructors not just a divemaster as they have more training, knowledge, and skills.
If you want to practice more skills that is up to you and your instructor. The same skills you learned in the open water course and some new ones if it has been a few years since your diving certification. Just to make sure that you are safe to dive and comfortable and safe with your scuba equipment and the marine environment.
As we do two dives in the afternoon you will then a second fun dive to enjoy what Koh Tao has to offer all levels of scuba divers. We are surrounded by dive sites, there is a dive site for everyone. Hopefully, you will continue fun diving around Koh Tao and explore the different dive sites we have to offer.
You may want to do another diving certification instead of fun diving while on Koh Tao such as the Advanced course. Ask your instructor or the professional dive shop staff about what courses are available. The scuba review with 1 fun dive costs 2,400b
